CHAPTER I PART II - THE EPIC COMEBACK OF BLACK DEATH

Norman and Lilabelle are on what may be their last journey. Only one may survive. The Earth was now desolate. After an endless journey, they reach a lifeless tribe. Norman had already forgotten how to smile when two bullets rolled towards them and smiled in the hopelessness. For a second Norman felt a sense of happiness. One of the two electronic robots told them what terrible things had happened to the earth. How 11 billion people had died in 20 years. Lilabelle hugged Kaiuto, her teddy bear who had been frozen with her for 5 million years, like a little child. She was a little child.

They lost the ground under her legs. They saw an epic tale. Was it real? Was it a dream? No. They saw war, they saw suffering. Not like World War II. Worse. They saw Kaiuto lying in a ditch.

"Mummy, will the Chinese Empire come to us... are they really that evil?"

"The Americans, they'll come and save us..." At the same moment the Eiffel Tower felt down. But no one cared. It was the most unimportant thing happening now. Lilabelle wanted nothing more than to help, but there was no hope. It felt like a dream. It was not her dream.

Only a few seconds went by. There was no more war, there were no more warriors. Still people died. It is the epic revenge of the black death. Apparently, there was no one who could do anything against the invisible opponent. The price of war was way too hight for humanity.

For a long time, the Chinese Empire, which has extended over Africa, Russia, India and the whole East, kept the virus secret. When the Western Alliance found out about it, it was already too late. The consequences of the war were like a weight on the people. The world has fallen.

The world was anarchy. It burned. Souls burned. Only the richest could save themselves. They saw scenes of injustice. They saw rich humans transforming into robots. Only their brains remained as  human - it was better than death. The spherical humanoids sealed the Earth above them and fell asleep. Poor people died, rich people slept. It's an epic drama. It's the epic comeback of the plague.

Reality took shape again. Norman was lying, Lilabelle's teddy was gone, a breath later, Lilabelle was gone. A teardrop was her final legacy. Norman looked at himself. He had become a bullet.

With two droids, he found himself trapped in a capsule. He didn't care. Everything had lost its meaning. Thousands of orbs looked up at the sky where they now travelled into.

It is the true beginning of an epic, tragic journey, searching for the meaning of life between happiness and suicide.
