Solarcraft Sanbox 0.0.7 Pre-Alpha OUT NOW


We are very proud to announce the biggest update to Solarcraft so far!

Solarcraft 0.0.7 Rumble Changelog

  • New (experiemental) procedually generated open-world area (you can get there by going to a portal)
  • New Item-bar
  • New health-bar
  • -Rebranding: DoofenshmitzDev (Formerly called Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc., but the name was not available anymore on platforms like Twitter and too long) has renaimed „Norman“ to Solarcraft. The new name is more recognizable and gives first references to the game. But Norman stays in the game as it is the name of the roboter you are going to control.
  • -New logo: Solarcraft is not using the default logo of its Engine anymore.
  • -New name: The program is now registered as „Solarcraft“ in your searchbar.
  • -New Titlescreen: The titlescreen has been redesigned in order to provide a better and more intuitive UX.
  • -New player-sprite: Norman now looks more „blocky“ and fits better in the game
  • -New particle-system: We brought some snow to the game. This underlines the cold atmosphere of the icy area where we start our game.
  • -We added a „Pre-Alpha-Footage“-pattern to the top-right corner
  • -„Gamejuice“ and more feedback: A green/ red box gives feedback wether the player can destroy a block or not (if it is too far away from the player)
  • -We finally added a pause-menu to the game!
  • -Solarcraft now includes new songs & sound-effects!
  • -Finally, all the people who have contributed to the game & helped me managing this project get the credits they deserve :)
  • -Added a weird and mystery structure
  • -Last, but not least, I have done tons of bug-fixing and cleaned up the projects internal structure!
  • New Theme-music
  • An own OST for the icy cave
  • „Plopp“-sound-effect when hovering over buttons
  • An impactful sound-effect when clicked on a button
  • Sound-effect when walking over ice
  • Sound-effect for destroying blocks
  • Sound-effect for trying to destroy a block where no block 
  • MUCH more...

On top of that, DoofenshmirtzDev is already preparing the next big update, which will ramp up the entire inventory-system when clicking the „E“ button. Until this is finished, we have added a „Under-construction“-screen when „E“ is clicked.
